Debit Card Courtesy Pay
Debit Card Courtesy Pay was created to help you in an emergency or prevent embarrassment when there is not enough money in your Checking Account to cover a Debit Card (PIN or signature-based purchase) or ATM transaction. With this service, MEFCU may authorize your Debit Card (PIN or signature-based purchase) purchase and ATM transactions, even if there is not enough money in your checking account to cover them. Plus, there is no fee to enroll, and no fee will be charged unless you use the service.
This service is in addition to MEFCU’s Courtesy Pay, which you may already have to pay checks and ACH transactions. To enroll in this service, simply follow the link, complete the form and return it to any office.

Direct Deposit
We accept payroll direct deposit from any employer. Just follow these two steps:
- Contact your Human Resources department with this information:
- MEFCU's routing and transit number (shown on the bottom of this page)
- Your account number - your deposit can go to your savings, checking or both
- Amount you want deposited with MEFCU (entire check or any portion of it)
- If you elect to have the deposit split between your checking and savings accounts, indicate the amount going to each account
- Once your deposit gets to your account(s) at MEFCU, transfers can be set up to any sub-accounts or for loan payments. This can be done within Online Banking as a recurring transfer, or through any MEFCU representative via Live Chat, Call Center, or stopping by an office.
