Frequently Asked QuestionsDo I have to be enrolled in Online Banking to use Mobile Banking? Yes, you must enroll into online banking to utilize the mobile banking feature. What is the Mobile url I need to visit on my phone? You can get it sent to your phone when you are enabling your account, however if you want to type it in directly simply go to www.mayocreditunion.org/mobile. What type of devices can I use with Mobile Banking? You can use Mobile Banking from any internet enabled phone, tablet, or personal device—whether it’s a flip phone, smart phone or electronic tablet. For devices that are browser-based, our Mobile Banking’s adaptive rendering will automatically detect the proper screen size for your device. For Apple devices, an iPhone app is available via iTunes (see separate FAQ). What types of connection do I need? Mobile banking only requires a device that can connect to the internet; there is no distinction between connections such as WiFi or 3G. Please check with your provider for applicable data and potential roaming charges. What types of transactions can I perform with Mobile Banking?
Is there a fee for Mobile Banking? There is no fee for Mobile Banking, however transactions (such as wire transfers) that would normally incur a fee in online banking will also in Mobile Banking. Additionally, you should check with your provider for any data or roaming fees. Is Mobile Banking Secure? What happens if I lose my phone/device or it’s stolen? Your account information isn’t stored in your device: if for some reason you lose your mobile device, your private account information cannot be retrieved by anyone who doesn’t know your login, password and mobile access code. For added security, our system will automatically log you out after an extended period of inactivity. I can’t remember my Mobile Authorization Code (MAC). What do I do? Your Mobile Authorization Code can be reset within Online Banking; simply go to the same tab you used to enroll. |
