Demolition has begun on the property located at 2215 2nd St. SW, next to our Cascade Lake Office.


The building adjacent to our Cascade Lake Location is being demolished to make room for an additional structure to support MEFCU’s continuous growth.

When the Cascade Lake Office was built in 2001, we had just two offices in leased space in Rochester and assets of less than $136 million. The organization now serves more than 67,000 member-owners across the US through nine offices located in four states, and assets of over $1.3 billion.

As the credit union has grown, so has the need to make room to support MEFCU’s continuous growth. The new building will house MEFCU support department staff and feature a member and staff education conference room with easy access. The additional space will allow us to continue supporting a vast array of products and services for our members who are located across the nation. Project completion is currently scheduled for fall of 2022.
